How to Link - Achor Point in Column Linking From Homepage

One thing I've been trying to do and need to ask for your help is:
How can I link from my homepage to a column section on another page?
I know you have explained how to do this for Tabs. But I can't see how to do it for Column.

you can link to sections only. You need to set Custom | ID for the section and then use the link like:
http://website.com/page#custom-id-name
