Appearance->BeThemeOptions->Save Changes Error 404 [mod_security]

Hello,

I've migrated my website from my development server to the client's server.

Everything seems to be working fine except for saving the theme options.

if I try and make changes (Appearance->BeThemeOptions->Save Changes) on my dev site on the theme the url looks something like this

http://dev-site-url/wp-admin/themes.php?page=muffin_options&settings-updated=true

but if I try and make some theme changes (Appearance->BeThemeOptions->Save Changes)  on the client's server it redirects me to

http://exclusiveprivatesale.com/wp-admin/options.php

and shows up an error 404

What seems to be the problem ?

Hi,

there could be different reasons. Maybe files has not been copied properly or maybe client`s server is limited and some variables like max_input_vars or max_input_time should be increased. Also we recommend to make sure you have enough memory.

Well I updated the theme, so there aren't any files missing,

Can you be more specific, where should I apply those changes ?

The clients server has enough memory, as well as Maximum amount of memory a script may consume

I did both of the suggestions

On wp-config.php I added "define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');" 

And I created php.ini file inside wp-admin with

memory_limit = 128M

Didn't help too

Is there a way for me to send you the login credentials, so you can see it for yourself ?

I don't know what to do anymore

We don`t need credentials for your website because if above solution did not helped, you must contact with your hosting provider because this is the only person who can help you. Your memory is definitely limited.

5 days later .... 

doing all the tedious work like reinstaling the theme, updating WP, checking the wp-options.php file line by line and many other things, turns out "mod_security" needed to be turned off in server settings and that's all.

I really hope I would at least save someone else the trouble,

I checked and tried both tricks, but it did not work. Any idea what I need to do on the local server?

One important point - Most muffin options are working correctly I can save changes in logo and all, but the layout ones are not working.

Do you still think this is related to memory?

@aayushjindal Yes, we still think this could be the problem. We have tested muffin options on many different hostings and it works very well. So in this case we don`t have any ideas what could be wrong in your case.
