Best way to backup and restore site

I have a site currently on www.domaina.com and would like to change it to www.domainb.com on a different host. What would be the best way to do that so it keeps all the settings and everything the same.

I already tried copying the whole site over and changing in the database where it has www.domaina.com to www.domainb.com and it imports fine, but the site doesn't seem to keep the settings like the layout, menu options and things like that.

while moving websites, we use only 2 tools: WP Migrate DB and Mfn CB Migrate Tool.

I'm new to WP and Betheme, I have modified my site locally and now wish to publish with my host. Are the 2 tools above still the best way to do this or can I use either the export option or ftp?

You will be able to move the whole website with the database .
