Main menu - settings for pages

Hi,

We're having some difficulty getting the 'Main menu' which appears on our 'home' page to also show on individual pages.

Is this (or should this be) straightforward using Appearance > menu settings or does is required coding?

If you may suggest some simple steps it would be appreciated.

main menu should be set under Appearance > Menus > Manage locations section.
