Background image (boxed layout)

Hi there,

I added a background image via BeTheme Options. The desktop view is fine. But the smaller screens (tablet and mobile), revealed white space after a certain height - it looks abrupt, as if the background image has been cut off. I need to add a background color (#00151d) for smaller screens. How can I do that? Or what would you recommend?

please make a screenshot of how this looks like on your side and also please send us url to your website so we can have a look on it. Did you noticed the same behavior on our demo, ex: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/tourist/ ?

Oh yes, like the demo - what were the settings for it?

Ok, we see what you mean. Unfortunately this is how it works. Background image have height and this must look like that. How you want to resize background image on mobile devices? What we can do for you is css to change background image to color on mobile devices because nothing else in this case can`t be done.

I would like to recreate what was in your demo, fading out the background image to blend into a background color. Would you please tell me how that could be done?

This option is called "Body background". We created background image with disappear effect and image goes into color and under we add background color and that`s why we got this effect. This option is available in Theme options > Colors > General section.
