I know that and in the logo section there is no entry in the logo field, but I've put THE MEASUREMENT PRACTICE in the text field (Use text instead of graphic logo). This works fine if I'm using standard top navigation, but not for the 'Creative: Always Open' option, where the BeTheme logo remains.
So can you tell me whether it is possible to replace the default BeTheme logo with a text logo using 'Creative: Always Open', and if so how ?
I downloaded version 11.6 only yesterday from Theme Forest, but have again downloaded what is showing as latest version which is still 11.6. Is there a more recent version and if so where would I find it ?
I also notice that the website (http://www.measurementpractice.com/wordpress/) isn't resizing/scaling properly in between laptop and smartphone size, as the logo and nav are off the top of the page, and there is a thin white line at the top. Can you kindly tell me how to fix this please ?
Recent version is 11.9 and this is the version that is available on TF for download (we did checked it already). Hundreds of people are using 11.9 version already as well what means this is the recent version.
Sorry but we don't see any like and the site scales properly in our opinion. Maybe you can show us on screenshot how it looks like on your side and under which browser?
If you look at screenshot http://snag.gy/hIWOL.jpg. as above you'll see that only the bottom half of the text logo THE MEASUREMENT PRACTICE is showing, and there's a white space underneath before the main picture. This happens when I resize the screen on my computer - if I continue reducing window size to smartphone size then it scales properly. I tested your Library theme for scalability in this way and it doesn't do this so there must be something in my settings which needs changing.
another question if you don't mind, I'm trying to upload an .otf (open type format) custom font OstrichSans-Bold but getting the error message "Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons." Is there any way I can upload this, and if not, do you know why ?
Ok, we found it. You're right, the problem is on theme side and would be fixed with next theme update. For now, we sorted it for you with the following css:
.admin-bar #Header_creative { top: 32px; }
In reference to 2nd question, we do not have any impact on what files can be uploaded. This is blocked by WP itself.
I already had copied the custom css (as below), and now realise that this line only appears when I'm logged in so that problem is solved :-)
However when I compare my version of the Library theme I see that when the website resizes to menu bar/smart phone size my header height is about twice the size of yours in the library theme. Can you help me to fix this please ?
Thank you for your excellent support in the past, which has led to me using your theme for all my new customers.
I'm using Rev slider 5.2.0 and whatever I do I can't disable slider on mobiles. I can see the visibility section on slides but it's always greyed out whatever setting I try and use, standard, carousel eyc, auto. full width etc. I also tried using recommended custom css:
One more please if you wouldn't mind. I'm working on http://www.brandcrafting.co.uk/ which as you can see is mostly sliders. Their image size for the sliders is 1180px x 664px, and I can't get this to size correctly on my laptop and mobile devices. Does my customer need to provide a different image size, or is there something I can do to size this properly on all screen sizes ? I've read through the doc and tried all sorts of different settings but am getting nowhere !!
PS It works perfectly using Layer Slider but that appears to have very few options, and doesn't seem to be nearly as good a slider. For instance there is a large choice of nav arrows for my customer to choose using Rev Slider
I'm using version 5.0.9 of rev slider and have an option to use customised arrows. Can you tell me how to configure this please ? I've looked at the Doc (https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/navigation/) which shows customised settings but I don't have these. See screen shot http://snag.gy/3okfT.jpg

you can set own logo under Theme options > Global > General section.
