Facebook Debugger Tool doesn't show og:image
Hi guys
Have been loosing sleep over this problem. Have a site that is just started and a lot of content is starting to be generated and needs to be linked through the site and then to facebook. However the facebook posts are missing the associated 'featured image' or any other possible images.
Looking at the debugger tool it shows that the meta tag has the correct image from the 'Featured Image' selection, however the image doesn't show in the sample appearance at the bottom of the page.
I also noted issues where the link of the image was causing a 'Ooops... Error 404', but the image was definitely there.

to display featured images on services like Facebook, you need to use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-facebook-open-graph-protocol/
In reference to 2nd question, if you got 404 error while opening link, it means the image simply does not exist or is blocked by your server. On both cases, we do not have any impact.
Thanks!
The og:image url will show in the meta but just shows as a blank further down. So let's say this is the hosting server that's blocking this. Is there a simple point to check on my server settings that you know off to top of your head that would cause such a block?
Thanks
