Exclude pages from navigation

How do I exclude pages from navigation? I want the pages to show in the sidebar once the main menu item is selected, so 1 menu item then when i click it i go to the pages with the custom sidebar of other related pages. Right now i have the option to have them in a drop-down or all on the main menu..

Hi,

this is how wordpress menu works. You can have menu items as main menu or submenu. All informations about that you can find at http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

But of course you can also setup menu in sidebar but this is a little bit different menu. In Appearance > Widgets section you can use Menus (default wordpress menu widget) or Muffin Menu
