The dashboard icon

Hello,

I have tried to remove most of the icons and logos that is either from wordpress or from be themes.

However, on the webpage, at the top of the page it always show the dashboard wordpress icon at the top left hand corner.

It seems rather difficult to remove that logo and by right most of the themes that my friends bought, have some functions to remove that dashboard icon.

I believe your theme should also have the same features to remove or replace the wordpress icon / logo. The question is where and how? Please advise, with thanks.

Hi,

which dashboard icon you mean exactly? We are not sure if you mean logo, favicon or maybe something completely else.

Hello, if you try to go to any wordpress site, by default, it will come up with a "W" inside a circle and on its right it will say "Log in".

I am not sure if you have an understanding but to make it very specific to you, let me describe further.

When i move the cursor over it, it will pop up a vertical list that lists out:

wordpress.org

Documentation

support forums

feedback.

When i click on the "Log In" Text it brings me to a page where it has a "w" circle icon on top and below it shows two textbox namely username and password.

Please advise how to remove or replace the default wordpres icon and change or update a new iconn that will show up.

Also at the Log in page screen, it also shows a "w" icon, i suspect that is the wordpress icon. Please assist to share with me how to white label it especially when white label is an object that is listed as a feature to your BE theme.

We are sorry but our theme does not have any impact on WP's logos and other wp stuff. And for sure, white label is not what you are looking for. But if you want how to set white label, please check http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#white-label-panel

Meanwhile i have a question, one of the demos that your theme presents is as follows:

My question that its so cool, the wordpress dashicon does not even show up?

I bought other themes as well, and i believe that the dashicons does not appear on other themes as well.

Your theme does not have any impact on wp's logos, but how did your theme demo show up nicely without any trace of wordpress icons?

I bought the theme and its extended support because according to your theme we are supposed to be able to customize up to have something similar to what you have. I bought the support because i can have some instructional guide to how to set it up to what is there.

If your theme does not have any impact on the wordpress icon, but you are able to have it present itself nicely on your demos, i would like to find out why and how to get that up. Its what the support does right? I hope i bought the right kind of support over here.

Sorry but i can not give my name. We do not post it anywhere and also we won't here because it's not one person only who reply on messages.

In reference to your question, can you explain where exactly on http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/charity2/ we do not have any WP icons? Looks like you don't know how to explain what you mean. Your current explanation is completely incomprehensible for us. Would be better if you can explain on screenshots what you mean exactly.

It seems that i cannot print the screen shot into the textbox you have over here.

Would it be possible to do.

Maybe you can actually do this:

The top panel that shows a be charity icon (with a heart)

This section that is called the "header".

This appear to be what i wanted.

Now the current thing that is occuring at my staging site using the template shows this:

Can you tell the difference between the two? I didn't know how come i need to be so specific. I would think that you are not one of the developers but i think it cannot be true since you sound so professional. Because anyone familar with wordpress should be very clear what is going on with simple explanations.

The BeCharity words with the heart is a logo and it can be changed under Theme options > Global > Logo section. The logo is a part of header so be sure that your header is active as well. Next time if you want to provide us screenshots, you can use any online tool like http://pasteboard.co/

However, if you uploaded logo already but it somehow does not appear, you need to send us link to your site so we can have a look on it. And yes, we are the developers of BeTheme.

I really appreciate your patience and kind efforts in trying to help troubleshoot. As compared with the previous support person, i think you are much more sincere and willing to help solve my query.

2.

I think what you mentioned is the logo uploading and it works very well.

3.

However what i am actually talking about is the wpadminbar which shows up for anyone who logs in at the top.

There seems no proper way to remove it, i have tried to use display:hide however it does still leave a whitespace which cannot be removed.

Please assist to advise.

4. The icons that this theme has provided does not seem to work.

Like example using the icon box, the icons shows up as an empty box.

How do i resolve it?

3. Wp admin bar can be easily disabled under "Edit my profile" section which is located in the right top corner of back-end.

4. Please send us link to page where you got icons that does not work. We must have a look on it first.
