Shop Product Image Zoom

Hi, I would like to remove the zoom from the image in the product page. My client does not want it to have a magnifiyng glass appearing "On Hover" the featured product image, nor does he want the pop up of the big image.
Can I remove that in anyway? Even if with a child theme. That could be a solution. but I do not know how to remove that functionality.
Can you help me with this?
