Theme adds site name for title tag (Using Yoas SEO)

Hello,

The theme adds site name on every seo title, i am using Yoast SEO plugin and have turned off the built in field from theme options. I have also removed %%sitename%% from Yoast SEO options. But still when i write my custom titles, the theme adds site name at the end for every search result. I want the site name removed from the end. This problem started to occur when i changed my old theme to your theme. Please help me too fix this.

did you checked Settings > General section where Site Title is also?

that worked, thanks! wordpress had added the site title there when i changed a theme.

What do you mean by "Setttings > General"? Wordpress settings? Theme settings?
Specifying answers protects missunderstandings ;-)
Especially when using a wp version with different language settings, makes hard to find the right switches, because they are named different!

@jba1969 Theme does not have Settings > General section what means it's Wordpress.
