Can't save theme options when wpml string translation plugin is active

I need to have wpml WooCommerce multilingual plugin which in turn requires wpml string translation plugin. However, I can't update BeThemes muffin options when the string translation plugin is active.

When I change an option and click save changes I get a notification box above the muffins options with the text: Strings translations updated

The URL is changed to: .../wp-admin/themes.php?page=muffin_options&string-translated=true

Hi,

this problem is not related with WPML but with not enough memory on server`s side. Probably this plugin took the rest of memory and muffin options panel does not have enough to save options. Please take a look at topics below and hope one of them will help:

Nop, that is not the case. It is on my localhost and I have enough memory set. It is something else.

It has something to do with the string translation plugin and what id does when saving the options.

Three things happens when I click Save Changes

1) Instead of staying at the option page I am at I get to the Sidebars option page

2) I get a formatted text above the Muffin options: string translation updated

3) The URL changes to: ...wp-admin/themes.php?page=muffin_options&string-translated=true

So if this is localhost then we are not able to check it until it won`t be online. We also have String Translation installed on our demo and everything works fine. So we are 100% sure this is not the problem as it works on our side.

It is not a memory problem, it is set to 256M. I have removed all other plugins and the problem is with the string translation plugin.

This person is having the same problem with another theme:

Normally in BeTheme when the options are updated the URL changes to: &settings-updated=true

When string translation is installed it changes to: &string-translated=true

Maybe it should be:&settings-updated=true&string-translated=true

We have checked already what you wrote and everything works fine. We have String Translation installed and everything works fine. Take a look at http://pastie.org/9649319 how link looks like on our side. Please make sure you have recent versions installed. In this case we recommend to contact with WPML support team.

I can't use the latest stable version because of memory problems...
However, the problem I had was fixed when I upgraded WPML from beta version 3 to beta version 4
