Can't get the default slider to install - what am I doing wrong?

I have the default demo installed except for the slider- I can get other sliders to unzip and install no problem (I tested it) but the default slider returns errors stating my webpage isn't working and that it sent no data.  Is there an alternate way to install the slider demo?  

(this isn't my first time installing a betheme -but I have to admit, this is my first time running into this issue!)

the file that I'm trying to import is specifically the demo for the front page default layout- so this file route:

demos

default

homepage.zip

the error I get when I try to upload it (which I don't get when I try to upload any of the other slider demos I've tried so far)  is:

The .com page isn’t working

.com didn’t send any data.

OH- and to add, I'm using the import from revolution slider itself inside wordpress, just as described in install directions.

We did checked this slider already and we are sure it's 1000000% fine! So the problem is somewhere on your end for sure. What we may suggest is:

- re-install slider files via FTP (remove old files and upload the newest one from package). All plugins are located under betheme.zip/plugins/ folder.

- Contact with your admin and ask what the problem might be because the error you presented above, is not related with slider or even with theme.
