Portfolio grid image fail

Hi,

can you imagine why this portfolio image isn't displayed in the whole frame? http://www.luftschloss.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/03/portfolio_grid.png

I inserted a portfolio grid on my index page where ist doesn't look right but on the portfolio page everything is displayed right.

at this time it isn't possible because I'm using the site in under construction mode. Any other idea how you could look at it?
