Two Visual Editor boxes beside each other causing layout holes in some layouts

edited October 2014 in Muffin Builder
I have 2 visual editor boxes in a single row that are 1/2 page width each. I have problems with it under one responsive layout. Here's what I see:

- width 1 (maximum width): box editor boxes are being displayed beside each other. (same row, different columns) Correct.
- width 2 (second heighest width) left box is below right box, both boxes are on different rows, since each box is in their correct column this causes layout holes. (different rows, different columns) Incorrect
- width 3 boxes are beside each other (same row, different columns) agains. Correct
- smaller widths: boxes are below each other (same column, different rows). Correct.

Is this a known problem? Or do I need to spend some time disabling plugins to see if one of them causes it?

I can provide you with a link/login for the site in question, only by PM though since the site still is in development.

I sent you the access infos by PM since I can't post them in public during dev stage.

I was using the Muffin Builder for the task described.

EDIT: Removed a description that didn't fit anymore.

  • The "layout hole" was caused by having a row with 2x 1/2 width photo boxes followed by a row with 2x 1/2 width visual editors.

The fix was adding a Divider element using the muffin builder in between those two rows.

Thanks to the support for explaining how to fix this.
