Alignment and Footer issues

edited April 2016 in Theme support
Hi BeTheme Support,
I recently updated www.south-tree.com to the BeTheme 12.5 version from 11.5. I updated the bundled plugins and updated to WordPress 4.4.2. After the updates completed, the site alignment is pushed to the left and the footer is left aligned also. The 4 sections in the footer are now vertical instead of horizontal. When I go to Appearance -Themes in WordPress, it is showing the BeTheme version as 11.5 but when I select System Status it shows the BeTheme version as 12.5. I also tried BeTheme 12.4 and the alignment and footer issues were still present. I then installed the 11.5 version and all issues were corrected so this leads me to believe the issue is with the BeTheme update. Please let me know any thoughts you have to correct these issues when I decide to update this theme in the future.

Is there a way to update BeTheme through the dashboard in WordPress?

Thanks!

  • Hi,

  • Hi,

Below is a link to another site I manage that had similar issues as the site I mentioned in my previous post. I updated the site below to BeTheme 12.9 and it pushed the content to the left. Please let me know any suggestions you have to correct the issues with the site below.

When I updated the BeTheme version to 12.9, it is showing 12.9 in System Status but when I go to Appearance-Themes in the WordPress dashboard, it is showing as 10.8. Is this normal that it is not updating in the Appearance-Themes section?

Is there a way to update this theme from the WordPress dashboard?

    Thanks!

  • Please open your website in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and check html errors you got. Please fix it first and all should be fine.

In reference to version, it is not normal. The same version should be in both places.
  • I have resolved the issue. Thanks!
