style.php takes forever to load

I have a website which, was built on BeTheme, however the load time of the website is very slow. And when I run it through pingdom it tells me that the style.php [Links visible only for registered users]file takes forever to load. Why is this happening? I mean more than 4 seconds to load, that must be a mistake.
