How do I make certain elements of my space span past the sidebar?

I.e. I want the header to span and the sidebar to sit underneath?

    But this is how it looks like exactly. Your sidebar is underneath the header.

    Is there a way to shave certain elements - say the picture of the girl and heading to sit above the sidebar - instead of to the left of it.

    Also how do i design headers to include breadcrumbs etc.?

    1. If you want to use sidebar for whole page, it is not possible then. This would be possible if you will not set the sidebar for page but you will use Sidebar Widget item for sections instead. So in first section you can set this girl to be full width and sidebar with the rest of the content in the next section.

    2. To display breadcrumbs, you must activate Subheader under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Subheader section.
