Anchor Link Scroll Smooth but Show # in URL

Hi,

I know that add class="scroll" to the custom link then It will scroll smooth to the section. But the #xxx appear in URL. Is there any way to remove it? Like One-Page + Custom Menu, it's working well. However, I don't want the custom menu in that page.
