BeTheme is just responsive. We are not sure what you mean exactly but BeTheme was prepared for desktop first and then in reference to desktop version, we made version for mobile devices like phones or tablets.
In this case I think your BeTheme ist programed with the desktop first approach. Mobile first / Desktop First is a way how to programm the theme. With mobile first your theme has to build up with first concentration on the mobile layout.
