search bar settings for woocommerce products

I am using the BeStore theme.

The only options I see for the search bar (under headers& subheaders-->extras) is either:
1) Icon | Search shop products only

or

2) Search Field.

When I choose the first one, there is no search box and only a search icon that opens a search box when you click it. I need there to be an actual search field box and NOT just the icon. but when I choose the second option to have a search filed there, it does NOT search only shop products and I need it to only search shop products.

Is there any way to have a search field box that only searches shop products?

also, when I choose search field, is there any way to change what it says inside the search box? I would like it to say just "Search" and not the default: "enter search here"

Hi,

In reference to first question, if you want to use search for shop products only, you need to use Icon | Search Shop Products only and except that one, we do not have other option unfortunately. But to change placeholder text of search, please check Theme options > Translate > General section.

Oh that's a shame..... is there no css code that can change it?

Also, when you click the icon and the search bar opens up, it opens the serach bar underneath the header. Is there any way to have it open in the same spot as the icon and also make the background of it white?

This can not be changed with css. This requires files customization and that's why is not possible.
