Adding a Background Image to "Creative: Always Open" Header Menu

Is there a way to add a background image to the "Creative: Always Open Header Menu?" Being that i's on the left side and very tall, there's about a 300 pixel high area where an image would be ideal and I'd like to one.

and how can i remove the default image in the Creative: Always Open Header Menu that comes whit the be-book theme ?

@xorge7 Which default image you exactly mean? Please explain and tell us if you want to remove it only or replace with own?
