add the search feature from one demo template to a different demo template

I really like the search icon in the menu that pops up the yellow search area box on this demo http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/blogger/. I'm using the demo "interactive" however. Can I still add this feature to my menu? How do I do that? Thanks

you can choose search bar style under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.
