I would like to use a newly created page to be used instead of the default single post page when opening a blog post. Is this possible with BeTheme?

Hi,

we have only 2 templates for single posts included "Default Template" and "Intro Header". We are sorry but we do not have other templates included for single posts.

PHP files responsible for blog pages are located under /includes/ folder.

Hello again,

I have a custom post with the tag/category 'job'. I have created the single-job.php template however this is not called, instead content-single.php is still called. This only happens in BeTheme, when I test on a default WP template it works well.

Is there anything done from your end which forces the use of content-single.php? What can I do to use my new template file instead?

As you can see on http://codex.wordpress.org/images/1/18/Template_Hierarchy.png there is no such template like single-xxx.php. Such template just does not exist. Ohh, the above screenshot comes from official WP documentation.
