Post meta customization

Hello I want my Post-meta to simply read this way:

Category | Date

instead of the current:

Published by  Author at March 18, 2016

Is this possible?

this requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.
