Maybe it's because of your theme version? Helper is a new feature and if you don't have recent version installed, you won't have it.

What is the best way to update version without to losing all my stuff?

And I don't lose all my custom css and styles????

If you didn't changed anything in theme files, then you won't lose anything.

I just add custom css and change the color and the options on the 'be theme option'

So if you did everything in the back-end, you won't lose anything because all options are stored in database.
