Using demo data images in websites: is it possible?

It is very convenient to create a website by modifying one of the 210+ sites, in this case sometimes I'd like to keep one of the images (background mainly but also other images): is it possible? I mean are the images roiality free?

It depends which images you mean. Some are free but some we bought and if you want to use those images legally, you need to buy them as well.

how to know whether an image is bought? I am mainly intersted on background images.

If you will post those images here, we will tell you if you can use them. We currently work on a site where all images would be listed with an information if you can use them for free or not but it would take a time as we got hundreds of them.
