error with demo data

Hi,

Till this morning I had no problems with importing demo data. 
This morning I got an email from wordpress that my wordpress is automatically updated to WordPress 4.5.3 [Links visible only for registered users]
And after that if I only click "Betheme demo data" I got this error:

WordPress function wp_remote_get() [Links visible only for registered users] test failed. Looks like your server is not fully compatible with WordPress. Contact your hosting provider.
Error: Operation timed out after 2001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/priefl5/public_html/srilz.org/wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/importer/import.php on line 509

I contacted my hosting provider, I do not know what he did but it suddenly worked. 
5 minutes later I saw that there was an update for Betheme so I updated it (13.7).
And now I get again the same error when I click on "Betheme demo data"

    Hey,

    you need to contact with your hosting provider as it's something on server side. Something must reset after WP or theme update and it has definitely nothing to theme. Would be great if you can post a solution of what was exactly wrong if your provider would tell you more info about it.
