Subtitle

Hi there,
How can I get rid of the default subtitle (Screenshot here: http://pasteboard.co/24gdZmrR.png) that is automatically linked to my domain name and replace it with the subtitle that I defined myself in the settings (Screenshot of settings here: http://pasteboard.co/24g9qPne.png)?
Many thanks.

  • Hi,

please send us link to page where you got this sub-title so we can check where did it come from.
  • That's actually difficult because I only see this subtitle when I insert the link "www.lerntrixx.de" in Facebook Messenger for example. I have not seen a specific page so far that I could point you to.
It also appears when I insert the link into a chat of an online collaboration tool that I use. See here:

  • I might have found it in the BeTheme options, meta description:
I deleted the default sentence "BeTheme is the..." and replaced it with a personalized sentence. Unfortunately it is not working. The description is still the old one when I try to insert the link in Messenger etc.
Are the meta keywords the terms that I personally define as preferred search terms for Google etc.?
    Thanks again...
  • We checked your site and looks like this text has been removed as it does no longer exist. However, Facebook still keep it until their caches wouldn't be cleared. Unfortunately we do not have any impact on it and you need to wait until they won't clear them so you can post your site without this subtitle.
  • It is working now! Thanks :)
Re. my other question above: Are the meta keywords (those that I insert into the "SEO fields" in Design options) the terms that I personally define as preferred search terms for Google etc.?
