Minify problems

Hi, question about minifying betheme. I already tried several plugins for minifying css, js and optimize html code. I'm sure I have found a good plugin called 'autoptimize', but it does not work well with my site. Load times are increasing instead of decreasing, when activating this plugin.

My question is, do you have, besides styles.php and style-colors.php other files that are created on the fly? Because that could be an explanation why minifying does not work on my site. If that is the case the plugin should minify the newly created files each an every time the page is loaded.

Hi Koen,

the only solution we can recommend is replace dynamic css with static one. We described everything at http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#static-css

Hi, I'm trying everything and it looks like betheme is really not the problem. If I deactivate every plugin and only betheme active, minifying seems to work just fine. So thank you for your follow-up.
