Visual Editor in the Muffin Builder

Hello.

If you have a lot of text in the Visual Editor in the Muffin Builder there's no secondary scroll with the pop-up, and it's a bugger.

There's no add media button (this one seems logic why) although I think it might be helpfull.

If you change the view to HTML and then back to Visual you will get the "Presentation Option" to full screen the wysiwyg editor but no previous text.

Please see attached.

  • Also every time you save something in the Muffin Builder it pops you at the top of the page, instead at the place where you were the wrap/item was from and you have to scroll back where you were.

Am I the only one with this problems, it is my first time with this theme and after 60 minutes I found a few UX bugs.
  • Visual Editor item is a default WP editor but the Wordpress has got such limitation that it's not possible to use exactly same editor in other places than the default one. That's why it's just impossible to add media button and other stuff you request. We tried to do this several times but with no luck.

However, if you want to use html code, we suggest to use Column item instead.
  • Hello.

Just tried to add a new section and the ones that I had bellow disappeared.

    Why is this happening ?

Is the muffin builder limited to a certain number of items/sections/wraps ??
  • OMG the muffin editor dose not make any saves in the page revision ?

How am i suppose to find a backup of my EVERY edit without revisions ?

    This is beyond sad.

Please stick to visual composer it's way way better in terms of less headaches.
  • You are unable to save the content only because of the limits on your server side. More details about that you can read in the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7689/muffin-builder-items-or-page-options-can-not-be-saved-max-input-vars

About revisions, they works with default WP Editor only. And because Muffin Builder is not a part of WP editor, revisions wouldn't work unfortunately. We suggest to do own backups because in our opinion, revisions are not safe at all.

    Hello

    I understand.

I went and played a little bit with the theme.

Is the muffin builder limited to a certain number of items/sections/wraps ?

Like I had around 7 sections, each with 2 wraps and before the save everything was fine, but after the save, section 7 disappeared with all the wraps that were within.

It's a bug or that's how it works.

I can replicate the problem if needed.

    Regards.
  • No, it is not limited. The only limits are on server side and in this case, max_input_vars variable is the only culprit. That's why we suggest to contact with admin because this needs to be increased.
