Margin, Padding etc. not working on Shop Page

Hello,

I am using betheme and woocommerce (both newest version). Everything is working fine so far. Except the shop page, where I have 2 issues:

1. How can I get rid of the categories shown? In the Woo Options I can choose between show category, show products or show both. I dont want anything shown, because I want my own page layout.
2. For my own Layout i want some margin left and right. Either I do it with VC or Muffin Builder, changing the margins doenst do anything. The shop page seems to have its own layout style. Any way I can change this?
