Cannot change to boxed layout

Hi

I started a new test site with the Be-theme and wanted to change from full width to boxed layout. The problem is that it won't change the setting. I tried to add: define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');" to wp-config.php but it still doesn't work.

Hi,

this problem is definitely related with server. Please take a look at topics below where has been described one more different thing but if this won`t help, then you should contact with hosting provider:

I tried a few options:

* the provider turned mod_security off

* I made a php.ini file with the following code and placed it in the wp-admin directory

<? phpinfo(); ?>
memory_limit = 128M

* I added the following code in wp-config.php

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

But... I still can't make changes to the header or switch from full width to boxed layout!

So if your provider did everything properly and you are still not able to change muffin options, then we have no idea what is wrong in your case. You can try re-install theme but we are pretty sure this is not theme problem as for many other users it works.

Provider just asked me to turn off magic_quotes. Can that be a reason?

You can try but we are not sure about that. You need to test it yourself and if your provider said like that then he should know what is he doing.

I have a ... strange solution. It works in Chrome but not in IE. Strange but true!!!!

So this is really strange. First time we hear about something like that. Maybe something is wrong with your IE version.
