3 questions: editing in muffin, zoo template home image + changing logo

Hi,

I bought this template for two clients because I was so enthusiastic about the  different possibilities and visual composer.

1. I worked a lot with visual composer and I love to work with that system. It's so WYSIWYG. So, I was happy to see that Be also uses that cms. But.... Once all installed I see that the muffin is working here. One of the most strange thing is that when I/m in an editing field (like a text field) I can't just select an image from the media library from a popup window while I'm still in the text field. I have to go first to the media library, and select there the image I'm looking for, than copy the url, and than paste it into the text window. This can't be, is it? :/ That would really be terrible. Please tell me that something went wrong with the installation and I can fix it. Or tell me how I can just use visual composer what really works very fine for me. In other words, please help me out from this editing nightmare!

2. I have searched for an hour how to change the image of the lion on the homepage of the zoo template, but I can't find it anywhere!! Please help me how to fix this!!!

3. When I change the logo, still I see the logo of the zoo. Please tell how I can change this.

Pleas help me, because working with this template isn't starting very smooth and nice... and I have to go on with my work on this website...

Looking really really forward to your reply!

  • Hi,

    1. Would be great if you can show us where exactly you need to use links to images manually. As far as we know, for each Muffin Builder item, you should have "File uploade" so when you click on it, the window with source of your computer should appear.

    2. This image was set under Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section with the following css:
     .home { background: url(http://betheme.muffingroupsc.netdna-cdn.com/be/zoo/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/home_zoo_bg.jpg) no-repeat top center; }
    3. Please send us link to page where you change the logo and still see the default one so we can have a look on it closer.
  • Hi,

    1. Please see the image here:image

    2. I'm working in a child theme. What I must do to change this image while I work in the child theme?

    3. The logo I already figured out. Thank you.

  • PS:

    1. So when I click on the image icon, there eis just a code added, no pop up window for the media library...
  • 1. Yes, this is how it supposed to work and everything is fine here.
    2. This requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.
  • 1. I don't understand, because you just explained to me in your first reaction that:
"As far as we know, for each Muffin Builder item, you should have "File uploade" so when you click on it, the window with source of your computer should appear."

    2. I don't understand. You deliver a template, but not assistance how to change an image in the template.
  • 1. We thought that you mean something else but when you sent us screenshot, we realized what you really mean.

    2. Yes, we deliver theme and we provide solutions like css customization what we did above. The css we gave you above, works as should. But if you want to modify theme files, then such customization are not included what about you can read in support policy where we gave you link above.

    Thanks for understanding!
