Full Width Background Image for a Column

Hi

I want a image, which is always in full width with a text. I tried to gave the section a background image with full screen or full width mode and lay a column item over it. The image has a resolution of 1920x800 px. Strangely enough the image is shown like its zoomed in the middle. How can I fix this?

Hi Thomas,

did you tried to use different positions for background or even tried different size of the image, like FULL HD (1920x1080px)? If not, please try this and let us know about the result.

Hey,

I tried your suggestions. Different positions led to no change, except for Parallax. I uploaded new pictures, the first and the second are 1920x1080, the third is 1920x1280. If I'm using Parallax and Full Screen it works for the 1080 pictures, but I don't want the Parallax effect. Also I looked at the homepage on a different PC, using Windows 10 and Google Chrome with a resolution of 1920x1080. There was no strange zooming at all... But on my MacBook with Safari/Firefox the pictures are still zoomed, if I don't use Parallax + Full Screen.

Do you have any idea how I can fix this or what would be the safest way? I just want the picture in full width and height accordingly to that.
