Portfolio Next / Previous Items

Hi,

The portfolio featured images are transparent png images with black writing.

Can you advise how:

1. To remove the "black" colour behind the NEXT / PREVIOUS portfolio items - change to transparent or white'
2. Remove the DATE on mouseover of NEXT / PREVIOUS items.

.fixed-nav .desc { display: none !important; }
.fixed-nav .photo { background: transparent !important; }
