Remove Header Image on portfolio-item

How do i remove the black part on top if i dont want to use an featured image or a slider.. i just want it to be simple...

Hi,

it's probably header's background and if you want to get rid of that part, please just activate Header Minimalist under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.
