Subheader Height

Hi,

I Cant seem to get the page title (subheader to reduce in height)

My Website is : http://www.dldctestpage2.co.uk/our-blog/

Do I need to use css to do this? if so could you give me a helping hand :S

Hi,

you can reduce subheader height with below css:

#Subheader { padding: 15px 0; }

by default padding is 30px.

I have something like this in layout.css

#Subheader { background-color: rgba(0,0,0, .02); background-position: center top; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding: 30px 0; position: relative;}

I have tried to change the padding values but nothing has changed, what I am doing wrong ?

@netpoint1 What for you want to modify theme files? Is the code we gave above not enough? If it's not enough, then try with !important declaration:

#Subheader { padding: 15px 0 !important; }

The all I need to get is lower subheader height, someone of your team on themeforest told me to read this topic, so I have registered and asking how I can handle that, the heading height is huge, my client needs it to cut by 50% but I can`t find the way of doing that. I`ve read here the parameter for doing that is padding, but in my case it does not work.

as you may see the subheader is to high, how to lower its height ?
I have tried "!important" it does not work in my case, I didn`t customized your CSS files, only this one option.

Anyway your theme is awesome, it`s my main theme I will use for my clients since now (I have switched from AVADA) (:

The code does not work because you already have this code under Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section what you can see at http://snag.gy/pPcCE.jpg As you see, it's 100px top and bottom padding and that's why it's so big

Thanks, it works now, I didn`t noticed that something is in this field appears, I didn`t set there anything, is it updated every time when I change something in CSS files ?

I have changed many times the padding under subheader and only thru files.
