Will not install

I recently purchased betheme and can't install. 

1) I have the .zip file but when I try and upload I keep getting the message "Are you sure you want to do this?" and "Please Try Again". 

2) I tried FTP and uploaded the unzipped folder. While WordPress recognizes the theme, it will not display the main WordPress dashboard.

Live preview shows nothing - a blank screen.

I am using Wordpress 4.6.

Suggestions?

Hi,

this message says that you can not install theme thru the WP default importer because of the limits on server side. It’s probably because of upload_max_filesize. There is few ways to install your theme then:

- You need to contact with your admin and ask him to increase those limits for you so you can install theme via default importer
- You can install betheme-small-no-plugins.zip file instead which is much lighter because does not contain plugins
- You can unzip default betheme.zip file and upload betheme folder with all theme files via FTP into /wp-content/ folder.

As I mentioned I tried unzipping and using FTP to put the file in the themes folder. It does show the BeTheme but will not activate or show a Live Preview. I have exactly the same issues with the no-plugins version.

Surely the BeTheme should be in the /wp-content/themes not just the /wp-content/ folder - correct?

Yes, this is a right place where it should be. But can you explain what problem with activation you got? If you uploaded files, you should be able to see the theme under Appearance > Themes section.

As I said it does show up as a theme when I go the Appearance / Themes but when I try and activate it, or click, live preview nothing happens. I just get a blank screen, tried waiting (5mins) and still nothing. I would really like to get this resolved ASAP, please can you help.

So if you get a blank screen, please send us dashboard access privately thru contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason. Please don’t forget to let us know what for the access is. Also, please create php file with phpinfo() function inside and attach us this link as well so we can verify your server settings and limits.
