How can I create a page as "blue print" for another blog pages

edited August 2016 in Blog
Hi,

how can I create a template or something like this which an editor can use as a blue print for many other blog pages.
It would be helpful to have such a page, so the editor can save a lot of time.

Is creating a new "Templates" page the right way? I'd try this, but I coudn't export the new template.
---> alert (Please remember to Publish/Update your post before Export.)

Thank you.

Best regards,
Jens K.

  • Hi,

Templates should be the right solution for what you need. Please create template first and then using Muffin Builder, use Import/Export button which is in the right bottom corner of Muffin Builder to import pre-made templates. Please notice that except this feature, we do not have any other similar.

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.

That is what I already did. However, the 'import'- & the 'Templates'-button showed no reaction. (javascript: void(0); ) .

    So, what can I do?

    Best regards,
    Jens K.

  • We recommend to deactivate all extra plugins first but if this won't help, please remove theme files via FTP and upload them once again via FTP as well to be sure that all files were copied correctly.
