Thumbnail size in "Muffin Recent Posts" widget

Hi,

I've forced the featured size(s) to be 2:1 (1024px by 512px), but the thumbnail in the "Muffin Recent Posts" widget is displaying in a 1:1 (80px by 80px) (Footer: http://hypestar.staging.wpengine.com/about/) - is there a way for me to force that thumbnail to display as a 2:1 ration, so my images are not cropped?

this requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.
