Change sort order of Search results

Hi,

The default action of search results is to show oldest -> newest. I would like to reverse this. We have 6 years of content and would like to show the newest content first. Is there an option for this, or can you tell me what file to edit?

we use default WP search action and as far as we know, it does not have such possibility.
