Changing the Permalink of the Home Page

Good day everyone

Is it possible to set the permalink of the following webpage...

http://krapf-glasbrenner.de/home/

...to one without the home, as in...

http://krapf-glasbrenner.de/

I found a work around within Wordpress.

You need to go to Settings >  Reading & then display the front page as a static one where you can choose which page should be usually displayed!
