Sub Header Backgrounds

I see you can have custom sub header backgrounds which is awesome, is there a way to have a default if a page does not have a background feature? instead of having just the color? I see you can have a default image as the sub header background but that over rights your current background

like you said, if you will set default subheader background, all individual will be overwritten by default.
