Video background on mobile devices

Hi:

I'm just trying to use a video background in a section. It works fine in desktop devices but in tablet and mobile simply doesn't work. The mp4 and ogv files are fine, the visibility of the section too... Any clue?

Hi,

background videos does not work on mobile because most mobile devices just doesn't support these kind of backgrounds unfortunately. Please notice that it has nothing to theme but it's a more technical problem with mobile devices and it's software.

How is't possible that in this site http://www.estraggo.it/ video background work on tablet ?

It's more of a compatibility issue. For one, not all mobile devices support video backgrounds and also playing video on mobile devices is very bandwidth consuming and the page is loading much longer hence the user will get bored and leave the site. For us replacing the video with an image is the best solution for now.
