Updating BE theme from 14.7 to 15.1

I tried updating the theme from 14.7 to 51.1 by uploading the theme folder by replacing the existing one. However, The whole website's font and color schemes got changed in the home page. Fortunately, I had the backup and restored it to the working version.

Please advise on the same.

we need link to page where colors and fonts does not work because we have no idea what you might did wrong. We can assure you that everything is fine with the update so the problem must be on your side only.

I did the usual update thing. By replacing the theme folder. Nothing else.

I updated to 15.2 and this is how it appears.

I switched back to 14.7.

Is this happening because of the latest wordpress update? Now the website has loading issues

We are pretty sure it's because of cache but to be 100% sure, you need to send us link to updated (15.2 version) without cache plugin.

Should I remove the cache plugin and send it to you?

I have deleted the cache plugin and updated to 15.4 it has completely destroyed the look. Please check and let me know.

It's simple. You have Static CSS option under Theme options > Global > Advanced section enabled and you didn't generated new css for the static css file after the update.

I have built the home page using muffin builder. I am not able to make any changes to it after updating. Static css is on. nothing is changing in the builder or the front end ..

Also 

portfolio slider is taking two rows. you can see it on the home page.

not sure why..

Ok, this sounds like you are unable to save the content only because of the limits on your server side. More details about that you can read in the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7689/muffin-builder-items-or-page-options-can-not-be-saved-max-input-vars

Probably if you will sort above, the slider would be fine as well.
