Meta description not been picked up by search engines

Hello Im using the betheme HTML and search engines are not picking up the descriptions.

They are different on every page but here is an example.

Hi,

as we can see, description is fine and there is nothing wrong related to this part. This question is more to SEO expert because we don't know what bots don't want to pick up your description. Maybe they need a time or maybe something completely else is happening.

Okay, Its been online for around 6 months now so Should of picked up

Any help going forward is appreciated

Okay so it turns out my site description has been picked up by dmoz, so added 

        <meta name="robots" content="NOODP">

        <meta name="googlebot" content="NOODP">

if this helps any one else.

Not sure if this is case bu hope this would help Google bots to pick up the title from dmoz directory.
