Remove picture frames from individual posts

Hi there. I noticed when I click through on an individual post from the main blog page where I have successfully removed the image border and mask, there is no way to position the featured images on individual posts or to enter custom CSS to remove the borders and masks. Is there a way to either not display the featured image at all so I can position it correctly in contents and without a frame, or to remove the frame and mask like I did on the blog page using CSS?

Hi again. I should stop writing to you so early. I was able to use similar CSS to how I hid borders on the blog page in the Theme Custom CSS area and it worked for individual posts. So problem solved. Thank you.
