Sub menu with fade-in effect

Hi, great theme!

I have a fixed header with a few menu items. One item, has a standard sub menu (not mega menu). How can I get the sub menu to fade-in, instead of appearing with no effect.

Do you know the CSS? I think it's easy to apply, but I'm not quite sure what to target.

Sorry but it's not so easy as you think and like we told you above, it requires files customization and couldn't be achieved with css customization only.

I know this post is old but I wanted to contribute in case someone wants this feature.

Muffingroup for your information it's really easy to achieve this with CSS only. Here is the CSS that I wrote for that :

.mfn-megamenu-parent .mfn-megamenu.mfn-megamenu-3 {

display: block !important;

visibility: hidden !important;

opacity : 0 !important;

}

.mfn-megamenu-parent.hover .mfn-megamenu.mfn-megamenu-3 {

display: block !important;

opacity : 1 !important;

visibility: visible !important;

}

.sub-menu.mfn-megamenu.mfn-megamenu-3 {

transition: opacity 0.3s ease-in-out, visibility 0.3s ease-in-out;

}
