How do I make these backgrounds?

In this theme:

If you scroll down there are backgrounds used that are not a horizontal line, but diagonal.
I know it's done with background images. But is this done in Visual Composer or in the Muffin Builder? Is there any tutorial how to achieve this look?

Hey,

these backgrounds where done with Muffin Builder, especially sections. We recommend to create an extra WP instance and do the import of this demo because it's the easiest and fastest way to learn how it was done.
